Per chi non conosce MLB The Show 22, dovremmo notare che ci sono molti modi per guadagnare XP. I giocatori possono giocare alle varie modalità di gioco in MLB The Show 22 e guadagnare XP dopo ogni partita, inclusi Road to the Show, Diamond Dynasty, Franchise e persino da marzo a ottobre. Per questo programma sono stati aggiunti anche i momenti del programma giornalieri e in primo piano. I momenti giornalieri offrono un aumento di 3.000 XP, mentre quelli in evidenza danno lo stesso importo per ciascuno completato. Inoltre, gli utenti ottengono anche una spinta per vincere le partite nell’evento Legends of the Franchise.
Gli utenti possono anche guadagnare XP completando le missioni che SDS ha inserito in questo programma. Gli utenti possono utilizzare le carte boss ottenute dai programmi passati (es. Field of Dreams, Dog Days of Summer, Back to Old School) e macinare per ottenere punti PXP.
